I taught climbing as a hobby business for about five years, but the way I taught was by useing slide show presentations. The reason for this was so I could lecture unincumbered and it held the students attention LIKE TV. Also if need be I could go back to the previous slide and it allowed me more one-on-one questioning if need be. The big plus to this is that I didn't have to carry a lot of equipment to each class session. Also along with teaching I did custom sewing ie sleeping bags, packs and outter wear, etc.
