WELL WHERE I THOUGHT IT WAS...IT WAS ABOUT 200 YARDS OFF OR SO:-(((
THAT  WAS GOOD, BUT I AM GLAD I DIDN'T USE THE MAP THAT I HAD PLANNED TO EXPLORE WITH.  IT WOULD OF BEEN AT LEAST AN HOUR OF BUSH WHACKING.  THEN I WOULD OF FOUND THE ROAD RIGHT TO THE BASE WELL ALMOST THE BASE.

IF YOU HAVE A TRUCK YOU CAN DRIVE ALMOST TO THE BASE.  AFTER YOU MAKE THE RIGHT TURN OFF 7010 THE ROAD IS BURMED AND THE LAST 100 OR SO FEET IT IS PRETTY ROCKY, BUT THERE IS A PARKING PLACE, BUT BE CAREFUL TURNING AROUND IT IS A LITTLE TIGHT.  I SUGGEST PARKING WHERE YOU TURN OFF 7010 AND TAKE THE 15 MIN OR SO WALK.
CHECK OUT THE EARLY SNOW PIC'S
WHAT YOU COULD SAY I FOUND IT QUITE BY ACCIDENT WHILE DRIVING WITH A FRIEND OF MINE.
SORRY TO SAY WE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET TO IT THIS COMING SUMMER THEY STARTED LOGGING IN THE AREA AND THE GATE WILL BE LOCKED JUST OFF 70.  THE ROADS ARE JUST NOT EVEN WIDE ENOUGH FOR A LOGGING TRUCK AND A CAR TO PASS.
IT IS ABOUT A 25 MIN DRIVE OR ABOUT 5 MILES FROM THE 70 TURN OFF TO THE TOP OF THE RIDGE.
HOPE YOU ENJOY THE PICS.
